Thank you for visiting my website. I specialize in research, analysis and reporting for persons of English and Scottish ancestry. Searches are conducted in American and British record repositories as well as in my personal collection. My clients include both individuals and organizations. If you are joining a lineage society, I can prepare the (electronic) forms for you.

Since 1993, Cornelia has been active in genealogical and historical research. She began with her native New York State, focused on researching house histories to save a building that was once a stage coach inn, and learned to perform in-depth courthouse research from title workers. Her project grew to become the Historic District in her hometown, now listed on NY State and National Registers of Historic Places.

Cornelia's grandmother and mother were both genealogists, and published several family histories. Cornelia set out to update these records, and became hooked.

Her research strengths include: New York State families of English and Dutch origins, New England families of English origins, Southern families of the Colonial American period, American families of Scottish origins. She is a Viking and a Celt.

From hobbyist to professional, her path included thousands of hours volunteering on several lineage society committees, a planning board, an architectural review board, a museum board, and a non-profit board committed to historic preservation, speaking engagements and publishing.

Her focus is on Colonial America, England, Scotland and Medieval Europe.
